Deloresart School of Art Opening Soon

Hey there,

As you may or may not know, I have been working on a School of Art for several months. I have always loved to teach (I spent 30 years teaching in a trade school/high school). During the years I taught I touched on so many different subject areas: graphic design, fine arts, video production, marketing and promotions, and so much more. I became an "expert" on software programs like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, inDesign, Painter, Final Cut Pro, iMovie and Premiere, and more recently Procreate, Illustrator for iPad, Adobe Fresco and Affinity Designer.

All that experience gives me many ready paths for class subject matter. I currently have over 125 recorded classes that I mainly have showcased through Skillshare, but I have felt a hankering to branch out into a school of my own.

Why? Well, when you are tied to a platform like Skillshare, you have no control. The site could disappear tomorrow and I could be left in the dark! There are also certain restrictions that I don't agree with; nothing major, but for example I am only allowed to publish once a week. With my own school, I can publish any old time I feel like it.

The other thing, some students don't want to opt into a subscription-based model but would rather purchase class out-right. I plan to offer several possibilities. I will continue to publish on Skillshare, but I will alternate with my own school so students can get the best of both worlds if they wish.

I do hope you might consider joining me in my school. Here is an example of a project that will be only available exclusively on my website. I plan to open my school on May 14th, 2022. That is my birthday and I can't think of a better way to celebrate. Be sure to leave your name here on my mailing list to get any announcements. I will have signing bonuses and discounts for all followers on Skillshare and anyone on my mailing list! I will keep you posted!
